Obituary of Mrs. Celestia I. Stafford

MRS. CELESTIA I. STAFFORD, 83, of 203 W. Lake
Ave., New Carlisle, died in her residence Wed,
March 9th, following several years of failing
health. She was born near New Carlisle, Dec.
27th, 1899, a daughter of Edward and Laura
Funderburg. She was preceded in death by her
husband, R. BROWNING, in Feb of 1978. She was
a member of the Honey Creek Presbyterian
Church and Eastern Star Chapter No. 423, New
Carlisle. Survivors include several nieces and
cousins. Friends may call at the Trostel-
Chapman Funeral Home Fri. from 6-8 p.m. Easter
Star services will be held at 7 p.m. Fri.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m.
Sat. in the funeral home with the Rev. Joseph
Quinn officiating. Burial will be in New
Carlisle Cemetery.
